Life’s too short for lousy customers

Seth stated this in his Do Less manifesto.

If you get the slightest feeling that your client's vision is nothing more than a "fog of war", than drop it.

Forget about it!

Politely step off, and put time shortage upfront as an excuse.

Eventually, what will happen is you will be spending 6h/night, 7 days/week, 3 different versions… all in vain.

You know better than to waste your ideas on confused people.

If the idea is brilliant, make your own product.

Projects are all about specs. They tell you what to do, you do it, they pay the labour. It's that simple.

Ok, so you still want to help people out and make the Internet a better place?

Then charge for consultancy.

You're more than a webdesigner!

How to earn money by doing nothing

There is NO such thing!

There is no easy way to earn 1000$!

You will not win the lottery, nor inherit a great fortune.

Customers don't have a clue about what they want, and even if they would, they probably won't tell you. But they know for sure they want it on a fixed date and budget.

So start coding. 10 lines/day is better than none/week, and you know it…

Do it now, do it today, Not tomorrow!

Deadline's coming your way…

Hello world!

And I am off!

Remember the penguins from "Madagascar"? once they reach the North Pole:

"Well.. this sucks!"
